About Hypnosis

It seems that most people want to make some form of change in their life. The change might be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Even if e know how to make the changes, often our limiting thinking patterns prevent us from making positive desirable changes in our life. The question is, are there changes in your life you know you should be implementing, but are unable to do so at this time?

Usually, the answer is ‘yes’. This is where Hypnosis comes in. Will power can only take us so far with our goals. Hypnosis can align our conscious and subconscious minds. It activates all regions of the mind and gets them working towards a positive common goal. Hypnosis activates the power of your mind so that you will be able to make the changes necessary to moves towards your hopes and dreams.

If one is resistant to change, whether they are consciously aware of this resistance or not, she will only be albe to move so far in the direction of change. Will power is a force of the conscious mind. For long lasting change, one must get to the root of the problem. This key is in the unconscious mind, and holds the secrets to long lasting change.

Access to the subconscious mind is achieved through relaxation, guided imagery, and positive suggestions. You create the person you want to become in your mind first, and then the body will follow suit. In a hypnosis session, you are always free to reject or accept any imagery or suggestions that are brought forth. The hypnotist will work with you to use visualizations that will work for you.

If the conscious part of our mind is the 10% of our mind which everyone says we use through will power, then the subconscious mind, is the other 90%, which is the most powerful determinate of our behavior. It is the subconscious mind which is the center of our imagination, our motivations, and behaviors. What the subconscious mind believe,s, the individual tends to achieve.

Hypnosis is a safe and effective tool in the hands of a competent and ethical practitioner. The hypnotist only acts as a facilitator in the process, as all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, you can only be tuaght how to change those things you want to change.

Move towards change today!
